Before founding Black Swan, Mackenzie led investor relations and stakeholder strategy for a $200M private equity fund with over 1,500 investors, where she built the communications, data, and trust infrastructure from the ground up. Her career spans global corporate public affairs, higher education, nonprofit leadership, and capital markets; giving her a rare, 360-degree understanding of how organizations grow, how they fail, and what it takes to lead through uncertainty.

Today, through Black Swan, she partners with founders, boards, and capital allocators to build investor confidence, elevate leadership alignment, and accelerate growth through precision and foresight. The firm’s work is grounded in discretion, high performance, and measurable outcomes — designed for those who understand that investor relations is not a department, but a strategic weapon.
